The Model X's sloping roof reminds me of the X6. Now that I have seen the resemblance, I can't shake it.

In true competitive spirit, I hope Tesla doesn't copy BMWs naming conventions and market this as - "Model X, the CoupUV to end all SAVs, compact SUVs and their hatch-bastard brethren."

Why do people like having their visibility reduced and functionality removed?

I know right!
I thought I was being too critical, because I love the Model S and Tesla in general.
But I have a few pet peeves with manufacturers trying to make (some) impossible things happen. 4 door coupes and SUV coupes are high up on that list...

" Tesla is competing with BMW forreals with the Model X "
lol no

In terms of launching bloated coupes on an SUV-ish platform - yes.

That Telsa had a few to many cheeseburgers.

No, not really. Tesla is still a niche auto company. And not a very big one in the grand scale of things. Plus you have to basically already commit to a tesla before owning one, can't just go to your local bavarian motor works dealer and test drive it.

I agree with that.
I drew the comparison solely on the basis that they are also launching an SUV that's like a "4 door coupe", or vice-verse, much like the X6.
And I am not a fan of such cars.
